Eligible courses may include:

  • Other notified agriculture programmes

A portion of agriculture seats is filled through the Joint PCM/PCB/PCMB merit list, while the remaining notified seats are allotted through the CBA/PCA/MBA/MCA Agriculture group merit list. Candidates should select only those branches displayed in their login account.

BCECE 2026 Choice Filling Is a One-Time Process

Candidates must understand that online choice filling is a one-time process for the first and second counselling rounds.

A candidate who does not submit choices during the first-round choice-filling period may not receive another opportunity to fill fresh choices for the second round.

The choices submitted before July 25, 2026 will be considered for both Round 1 and Round 2 seat allotment. Therefore, candidates should include every college and course in which they are genuinely interested.

What Happens If Choices Are Not Locked?

Candidates should manually lock their choices before the deadline.

However, if a candidate has saved choices but fails to lock them by the last date, the system may automatically lock the last saved choices after the deadline. Candidates should still complete manual locking and download the choice slip to avoid any problem.

BCECE 2026 Seat Allotment Process

Seat allotment will be prepared on the basis of:

  • BCECE 2026 merit rank
  • Candidate’s examination group
  • Category and reservation rules
  • College and course preferences
  • Availability of seats
  • Course-specific eligibility conditions

The Round 1 seat allotment result will be released on July 29, 2026.

Candidates receiving a seat must log in and download their provisional allotment order. The allotment order will mention the reporting or nodal centre and document-verification date.

Upgradation and Retain Option

After receiving a seat in Round 1, candidates may be provided with an upgradation option.

Candidates Selecting Upgradation

Candidates who want a higher-preference college or course in Round 2 must select the upgradation option. They are still required to complete document verification for the Round 1 allotted seat.

If a higher-preference seat is allotted in Round 2, the previous Round 1 seat will automatically become vacant.

Candidates Not Selecting Upgradation

Candidates satisfied with their Round 1 allotment should complete document verification and admission according to the schedule.

Candidates who do not express willingness for upgradation may not be considered for a higher choice in the next round.

Reporting Is Mandatory

All allotted candidates, including those applying for upgradation, must report to the assigned reporting or nodal centre.

Failure to complete document verification within the specified period may result in cancellation of the allotted seat and disqualification from the following round, subject to the official counselling rules.
