PGIMER Nursing 2025 Exam will be conducted in first week of June 2025 for M.Sc Nursing and fourth week of July 2025 for B. Sc Nursing & Post-Basic Nursing. PGIMER Nursing is a national level entrance exam conducted to offer admission in various UG & PG level nursing courses.

The Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh conducts this entrance exam every year for admission in courses such as B.Sc Nursing (4 Years), B.Sc Nursing (Post Basic) and M.Sc Nursing. Through this exam, candidates will be offered admission at various government and private medical institutions/colleges located within a country.

Candidates must follow the given instructions related to PGIMER Nursing Application Form 2025:

Online PGIMER Registration Procedure

  • Go to the Official Website (https://pgimer.edu.in).
  • Click ‘New Registration’ to create an account with basic information.
  • Fill out the Application Form. Enter your personal, academic, and communication information.
  • Upload Documents. Include scanned copies of your photo, signature, and relevant certificates.
  • Pay the Application Fees. Use an online payment option such as a debit/credit card or net banking.
  • Submit & Print Confirmation. After successfully submitting, take a printout for future reference.

Application Fee

  • Application fee of PGIMER Nursing 2025 will be paid through online mode.
  • Candidates will be able to make payment using Debit card/credit card/net banking online gateways.
  • It must be noted that application fee will be non-refundable in nature.

PGIMER Nursing 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must go through the PGIMER Nursing Eligibility Criteria 2025 before filling application form:

For B. Sc Nursing (4 Years):

  • Qualification: Candidates must have qualified 10th & 12th level exam or equivalent from any recognised board.
  • Age Limit: The age of candidates must not be more than 25 years and less than 17 years as on 1st September 2025.
  • Gender: Only female candidates will be eligible to apply for admission.
  • Marks Criteria: At least a minimum of 50% aggregate marks must be obtained in qualifying exam.
  • Subjects: Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination with subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English to be eligible to apply.

For B. Sc Nursing (Post-Basic):

  • Qualification: One must have passed 10+2 standard or any other equivalent examination from a recognised board.
  • Age Limit: The upper age of candidates must not be more than 45 years as on 1st September 2025.
  • Marks Criteria: Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in General Nursing and Midwifery.
  • Registration: Applying candidates must be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife & registered with State Nursing Council approved by NIC or substitute registration in case of male candidates to be eligible to apply.

For M. Sc Nursing:

  • Qualification: Candidates must have passed a bachelor’s degree from an institution recognised by concerned State Nursing Registration Council.
  • Marks Criteria: One must have secured a minimum of 55% marks in their bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience: An experience of 1 year in Hospitality/Public Health Nursing/Nursing Educational Institute is required to be able to apply.

PGIMER Nursing 2025 Exam Pattern

In the given section, we have mentioned the PGIMER Nursing Exam Pattern 2025:

  • Mode of Exam: Exam will be held via online (CBT) mode.
  • Duration of Exam: Candidates will be given one and half hours to solve paper.
  • Type of Question: Exam will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
  • Total Questions: A total of 100 questions will be asked in exam.
  • Total Marks: The question paper will consist of a total of 100 marks.
  • Marking Scheme: For each correct answer, candidates will be given 1 mark.
  • Negative Marking: There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks (i.e 25%) for each incorrect answer.
