    Educational Qualification

    Candidates must have:

    • Passed 10+2 (Intermediate) with
      • Physics
      • Chemistry
      • Biology
    • Minimum 50% aggregate marks
    • Minimum 40% marks in each subject

    Students appearing in 12th Board Exam 2025-26 are also eligible to apply, but they must produce their original mark sheet during recruitment stages.


    Age Limit

    Candidates must be born between:

    01 May 2005 to 31 October 2009 (both dates inclusive).

    Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply.

    Selection Process

    The selection process includes two stages:

    Final merit list will be prepared based on Stage-II written exam performance.

    Candidates must qualify the following standards:

    Training Details

    Selected candidates will undergo:

    • Basic Training at INS Chilka, Odisha
    • Followed by Professional Training

    Training is expected to start in May 2027.


    Service Duration

    • Initial engagement period: 20 years
    • Opportunity for promotion up to Master Chief Petty Officer-I

    Outstanding candidates may also get opportunities to become Commissioned Officers.
